The damage

Here are a few pics of our back yard and behind our yard. The kids have been making forts out of downed trees all day.

Hurricane Ike

We were really blessed that we didn't suffer too much damage from hurricane Ike. The night before we took a few pictures. It was super windy but the sunset was beautiful.

Daniel's first day of preschool

So Daniel started preschool. He got the same teacher Isaac had last year, Miss Peggy and we are so glad. She's awesome. So far he's having a great time.

I've had a couple of level II ultrasounds and got this 3D picture out of the deal. She kept putting her hands over her face, probably saying something like "Go back to your own lives!!"

School Time!

So Isaac had his first day of kindergarten! I can't believe he's in elementary. So far he likes it but sometimes he complains that it's too long. I'm still miffed that I don't have the 1/2 day option here in Texas but it is what it is. The kids were all getting a little squirrely and going back to school has been good for them. One of the perks for Daniel is that we get a little more playtime. :)
