Breakfast for hurricane victims

A bunch of great ladies from church and my neighborhood helped to feed breakfast to about 50 people last week. They were mostly from Houston, staying at a local church that was acting as a Red Cross Shelter. It was great to see how quickly everyone offered to help.

Hockey Time!

Curtis challenged all the boys on our street to a game of hockey. Some how each kid managed to score a goal and everyone had a great time. :O What an awesome Dad!

Ingenuity

Jonah and Isaac were out front the other day doing stunts. Can't believe we haven't had more broken bones (knock on wood!)

Curtis turns 40!

So Curtis had his birthday on September 14. Unfortunately it was the day after the hurricane and things were a little bit crazy. He had requested an arctic cake with an igloo on top (it's still really hot here in Houston- we miss real fall) but we decided on a hurricane cake instead!
