Daniel and I decorated his very own Axis and Allies Cake! That is his favorite game these days and he would like to be a General when he grows up. I told him that you usually have to work your way up and he would probably start off as a "private." Boy, did he think that was funny! :O

Why do I do home birthday parties? They are exhausting. We tried to keep the little soldiers busy but it was no easy task. Here they are getting ready to play "pass the grenade." This is how the schedule went:
4:30-4:45 craft, decorate bags with stickers and sign dog tags
4:45-5:10 Obstacle course (balloon between knees, hula hoops (tires), balance beam, tunnel, jump over bean bags. Time each one and give reward
5:10-5:15 Drink break with juice boxes and peanuts in shells in a tent
5:15-5:35 Some kind of army game (make Curtis do it)
5:35-5:50- Throw bean bag onto giant map and try to hit targets
5:50-6:10 Open presents
6:10-6:20 Eat cake
6:20-6:30 Play Tank, Tank Grenade
Gift bags: gum in bag, binoculars, hat, camo sash
Kids go home, mommy and daddy crash!
