Rainbows and Candles

>

So Lucy turned three last week. I can't believe my little girl is getting so big. But seriously she turned into a turkety overnight. Church on Sunday was a nightmare (maybe we could blame daylight savings?), today she chased me out of Target and she has suddenly become this screamer, grabber, toddler rule person. Arghh. Guess we were due for something difficult with her. She has pretty much been the sweetest baby ever from day one.

The party was so much fun! And wow, I just cannot believe how little girls actually play the games at the parties. I'm used to boy parties that always end up being a giant battle or wrestling match. These girls were dancing and playing musical chairs and hide 'n go seek. So cute.

The cake was fun and easy to make. Colors just make me happy. Got the idea here although I did not use her recipe for "diet cake" cause it just sounded gross. And I had to have smarmellosh (Lu's word) on the cake for a little cloud vibe. We did recycled gifts because I knew Lucy's friends all had lots of girl stuff around their houses. Lucy loved it! She got all kinds of cute dress ups and bags. What is it with girls and bags? I'm writing a whole post on this soon!

Love my little girl. Happy Birthday Lucy!
