A Cathedral Bolster Pillow

My parent just celebrated their 49th wedding annivesary! Wow- they are such a great example of loyalty and love! I knew I wanted to do something with the cathedral quilt pattern but didn't have time for a full quilt. This bolster was pretty quick and I had so much fun picking out each square of fabric. I sewed this pattern with a machine and cannot imagine how long and painful it would be to do it by hand. As I closed the pillow up I did a couple squares by hand and they looked awful! I don't recommend it. The tutorial is here. But I have also decided that I don't like using cardstock paper to help with the ironing. It's acually easier to do the project without mitered (sp?) edges and the squares fold easier.
